To further reduce our environmental footprint, we utilise reDirect Recycling (a Borg-owned resource recovery business) for our board off-cuts. Instead of sending waste to landfill, suitable melamine and particleboard off-cuts are collected in dedicated bins and recycled.
These materials are then processed and used as feedstock in the production of new board products, supporting a more circular approach to timber-based manufacturing in NSW. This helps close the loop on material use and reduces the environmental impact of joinery production.
We prioritise longevity over replacement. Using durable materials, low-VOC finishes and high-quality hardware results in kitchen cabinetry designed to perform for years with minimal maintenance — a key factor in reducing environmental impact over the product lifecycle.
Where possible, we source from Australian suppliers to support local industry, reduce freight emissions and increase transparency in the material supply chain. Local manufacturing also provides better quality control and faster lead times for our customers.
